And from the airport to our hotel near the city center was a 45 min taxi drive. One of the main things to do in Kuala Lumpur is the Petronas twin Towers.

This was the tallest building in the world from 1998 to 2004 and remains the tallest twin towers in the world. We turned up about 11am in the morning to buy tickets.

Tickets cost us 85 MYR (about 18 euro). If you want to do this in the evening to see the Kuala Lumpur skyline at night definitely book online and in advance as this more than likely with be sold out.

Your tickets will give you access to the Skybridge plus the Observation Deck on the 86th floor.

Someone will escort you to each viewing point, where you’re free to wander around on your own and take pictures.
