Seminyak is the home for many nice if not fancy beach clubs and bars. The iconic pick should be Ku De Ta or Potato Head but there are also other choices as well.
There should be a day when you can have a lazy breakfast, swim in the pool during the day, watch the sunsets, sip to god cocktail in the evening and dine in a fine restaurant in the beach clubs.

While in Nusa Dua you have the ocean at your doorstep. There are plenty of options to try some water sports from jet-skiing to snorkeling. As well as flyboarding or scuba diving.
Visit Surf N´ Turf Park
Surf & Turf in Nusa Dua Beach is a beach club and amusement water park. They are a lot of rides from indoor waves and sliders with instructors in place to help if needed.
The beach club has swimming pools which make it perfect for the family.
Finally, which one to choose really depends on your personal preference. If you are looking for a good nightlife with a bit to do during the day then it is Seminyak. If you are looking for more family activities with resorts then it is Nusa Dua.
Personally, I would choose Nusa Dua over Seminyak as it has a better beach, better restaurants but the nightlife is quiet.
