We decided to do an activity day trip in Chiang Mai, Thailand that would involve visiting a butterfly farm, Elephants, white water rafting, and visiting waterfalls.
Again, we randomly picked a tourist agency which there is plenty of in Chiang Mai, looked at the brochures, and we were selected the one with the most activities.
The day trip we selected was a full day from 8 am to 4:30 pm and cost 950 baht. This included lunch and transportation to and from our house.

Visiting Butterfly Farm
After being collected at our house. Our first port of call was to the butterfly farm.
Where we had a coffee and then walked about the special butterfly enclosures where these butterflies can be seen in a natural environment.
Visiting The Elephant Farm
After the butterfly farm, next was the Elephant farm. Where we meet the elephants.

And did the tourist stuff like feeding them with bananas and so on. Next was lunch.
White Water Rafting
With lunch over, next was the white water rafting. While we were white water rafting we pushed through about 10 to 15 rapids with spectacular jungle views as we passed some riverside camps.
And a few elephants, while observing wildlife in its natural habitat. This was pretty fun for a first-timer.
Huang Satan Waterfall
The waterfall in Huang Satan was our last place to visit. To get to the waterfalls, there was about a 30-minute trek through the jungle.
The fairly challenging trek through the jungle but we got there in the end.
